Peace Tree Farm

Don't call me Ishmael, at least not yet

A couple of days ago, my friend (he still is, even after dropping this little task on me grin) Rodger Payne tagged me with one of those book meme challenges.  It goes like this:

Describe the five books you liked enough as a teen/young adult to read again as an adult

My plate is very, very full at the moment, so I can’t fill out my list right now, but I’ve certainly been mulling it over.  I’ll put it together and then post my book list Real Soon Now.

I bet you can guess one of my quintet.

I’d also like to extend a quick note of appreciation to Avedon Carol, who recently mentioned PTF in one of her postings and thereby doubled or tripled my traffic for the day.  Welcome, fellow Sideshow freaks!

I’d be a big fan of The Sideshow even if Avedon never even noticed my little contributions to blogtopia (yes! another gratuitous mention so that I can drop in a link to CNN’s favorite blogger and the coiner of the term, skippy the bush kangaroo).  That Avedon has linked to my postings more often than has any other major blogger makes me all the more appreciative of her great work.

[UPDATE] Link to skippy changed so that it points where he’d like it go—his joint 3rd blogiversary/millionth visit celebration, scheduled for July 10.  We who are closing in on 16,000 visits after two and a half years salute you.

Duty calls, so I’d better get my nose back onto that grindstone…

Uh oh, I hope skippy doesn’t read his own message threads too closely before adding PTF to his blogroll…
